We would like to express our strong endorsement and support for the American Psychiatric Association statement linked below, condemning the violence, denoting the exposed inequities, and recognizing the events’ traumatic impact on our collective mental well-being. We invite our members and colleagues to join us as we continue to work hard in promoting and protecting the mental wellbeing of diverse communities; advocating for social justice and equity; and championing culturally and linguistically competent collaborative efforts in the healing of individual mental health struggles and the resolution of social divisiveness, conflict, and oppression.
